Description

Fall asleep calmly, wake up safely again – thanks to gas detector in the camper. The interiors of recreational vehicles are small and very well insulated. Escaping gases in the motorhome that are not noticed can pose a mortal danger to the occupants. Even criminals often use anesthetic gas to make the motorhome crew incapacitated and rob the vehicle. A gas alarm for the motorhome such as the TriGasAlarm from Linnepe reliably eliminates these sources of danger.

The gas detector in the motor home – watchful for your safety

  • Monitoring the concentration of gases that may occur in the vehicle
  • Warning of KO gas or anesthetic gas in the motorhome

The gas detector for the motorhome from Linnepe protects you in your sleep

The alarm is triggered as soon as the gas detector in the mobile home measures a dangerous or increased concentration of the following types of gas:

  • Propane
  • Butane
  • Anesthetic and stun gas (so-called KO gas)

For ordinary needs, a gas detector that recognizes these types of gas is sufficient. These are the most common threatening gases that can occur in the motorhome. So you enjoy effective protection during camping.

TriGasAlarm from Linnepe – the whole competence of gas detectors

With the TriGasAlarm, Linnepe has concentrated its expertise in gas detectors in one device. The compact gas detector scores with the use in the motorhome with reliability, functionality, performance and design. You get a high-tech in a beautiful and easy-to-use form. Connecting the TriGasAlarm is quick and easy. The gas detector is connected directly to the 12-volt electrical system in the motorhome. The noble design and the simple operation convince already at the first use. A simple press turns the device on and off. After a calibration time of three minutes, the gas detector is ready to protect your motorhome. The siren of the TriGasAlarm is sufficiently loud at 80 dB to wake the occupants of the motorhome out of their sleep. Even for outsiders, he is clearly heard. When a critical gas concentration is reached, a pre-alarm sounds first, then the main alarm is triggered. The gas detector contains a highly sensitive sensor. On request, a second additional transmitter can be installed. This is mounted in height, in contrast to the main unit. The gas detector in the motorhome protects you against ascending and descending gases. The operation of the device is done easily by finger pressure. Depending on the device status, the entire surface of the gas detector lights up in color, so that the operating state can be seen at a glance.

Safety at the touch of a button – this is how the gas detector in your motorhome works

Firmly connect the TriGasAlarm to the power supply in your motorhome. It is the usual 12 V network needed. Now switch on the device by pressing lightly on the button on the top of the housing. The calibration phase begins. This is indicated by a green flashing LED on top of the gas detector. As soon as the green light is on, the gas detector for your motorhome is ready for use. The entire device now shines in green light and shows you at a glance that it is in operation. Small function, great comfort: The brightness of the green LED light, which indicates the operation of the gas detector, can be dimmed in the operating mode at the touch of a finger.

Connection of the gas detector TriGasAlarm

The gas alarm will be connected to the on-board battery in your motorhome. Connecting to a power adapter or charger may cause malfunction. Make sure you have a correct connection of the gas detector.

Product data Gas detector TriGasAlarm

  • Operating voltage: 9-16 V
  • DC power consumption in stand-by mode: 95 mA
  • Power consumption alarm: 160 mA
  • volume for alarm: approx. 80 dB
  • Sensitivity: 98 ppm (EEC)
  • Conformity: 89/336 EEC – 93/68 EEC

The connection must be made to an on-board battery. Operating the gas detector with a power adapter or charger may cause malfunction.

Each time it is switched on, the gas detector checks the function of the sensor. The device automatically calibrates for ambient air and temperature. In addition, the smart electronics check the calibration every 40 seconds and adjust it as needed. Thanks to the temperature control, the gas detector compensates for differences so that dangerous gases can be reliably detected even at temperatures above 25 ° C.

The TriGasAlarm for use in mobile homes – Operating conditions at a glance

The color of the housing can be used to check the operating status of the device within seconds. The entire color of the case lights up in a different hue, depending on which mode the gas detector is in.

  • Flashing green = Calibration phase
  • Green permanently lit = everything is OK
  • Red = Alarm, a continuous warning tone sounds

Simply read the operating status of the gas alarm on the housing color!

Which gas detector for the camper? With Linnepe you have the best choice!

Linnepe is an expert in the field, being one of the first companies to develop and sell mobile home gas detection devices. Already in 1999 Linnepe presented the first anesthesia gas detector SopoAlarm – at that time a complete novelty and smiled at by many. Today, more than 15 years after its launch, Linnepe’s gas detection systems have convinced numerous campers and conquered a steadily growing fan base. Among the RVMs, Linnepe gas detectors are among the safest and most reliable systems.

Easy retrofit

The Linnepe TriGasAlarm is easy to retrofit in your motorhome or caravan. The device should be installed in a central location near the floor of the vehicle. The TriGasAlarm only needs to be connected to the 12V power supply of the on-board battery. With a modest power input of just 95 mA in stand-by, the TriGasAlarm can easily be left on at night even with the vehicle in self-sufficient mode. When switched off, the power supply is effectively interrupted.

Gas alarm with low power consumption

Even if the motorhome is self-sufficient for a long time, the TriGasAlarm is used. Thanks to its low power consumption of just 95 mA in stand-by mode, it runs reliably throughout the night during bedtime. When switched off, the power supply is interrupted, so that no power is consumed.
