    Excellent upgrade over BRC

Posted by Alun on 4th Nov 2014

Originally had a BRC system using yellow injectors. After a 4th injector fail I decided it was time to go for a different make. What can I say, best move I made....

These flow better than the yellows for sure and due to the individual mount options are much easier to hide away as well.

The injector hose between the injector and inlet manifold has dropped from about 7" to less than 2".

I had to cut gas timings back quite a bit as well, with the yellows hitting 110% at WOT and these still being less than 90% in comparison.
This is on a Saab 9-5 Aero 2.3 turbo (4 cyl) running 280bhp and 330lb/ft torque. Far more capable than stated.

Just ditched the rest of the BRC system so will see how the new one deals with them. Fingers crossed it's onwards and upwards.....
